Allahabad University accepts AU-PGAT exam scores for admission to MBA. The exam is conducted by Allahabad University. Candidates for admission to this course have to undergo an additional test conducted by the concerned department. Final merit is computed on the basis of total of marks scored in PGAT and scores obtained by the students in the department-level additional test. Those who qualify and score well in the exam, such students are required to go through the counselling process conducted again by the university for final seat allotment. 

Allahabad University cutoff 2024 for various PG courses based on CUET PG scores for MSc ranged between 150 and 198 for All India Category. The rank for MA ranged between 160 and 166. CUET PG rank for LLM was 168 and 160 for M.Ed in 2024. 

The University has 50+ programmes at the undergraduate - UG, postgraduate - PG & PhD levels. The separate placement data for BCom is not released. However, the NIRF report 2023 includes the overall statistics for the UG (3-year) courses. A total of 4,973 UG (3-year) students graduated in 2022. Out of these 621 were successfully placed. Earlier, 409 out of 4,856 students were placed in 2021. Looking at the past three years' data, a fluctuating trend was observed in the number of UG (3-year) students placed and the median package offered. The University has a decent placement record for BTech. Looking at the past three years (2021 to 2023), a fluctuating trend was observed in the BTech placement rate. The Allahabad University highest package offered during recent placements is not out officially. However, the median package 2023 is available.
