Alliance University, Bangalore Entrance Exam

Lovely Professional University (LPU) does conduct its own entrance exam known as LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) for admission to many undergraduate programs, including BBA. However, the requirement of LPUNEST depends on the type of BBA programme you are applying for. For a general BBA program, LPUNEST is usually not compulsory as students can get admission directly on the basis of their Class 12 marks, provided they meet the eligibility criteria of at least 50% with English as a subject.

At the same time, LPUNEST plays an important role as a scholarship test. Even if you qualify for admission based on your board exam marks, taking LPUNEST gives you the opportunity to secure significant scholarships, which can greatly reduce the overall tuition fee. For specialised BBA programs such as BBA (Hons.) or BBA in International Business, Analytics, or other focused areas, LPU may require LPUNEST or conduct interviews in addition to merit-based selection.

In short, while LPU does conduct an entrance exam for BBA, it is not mandatory for every student. If you have strong Class 12 results, you may get direct admission, but appearing in LPUNEST is beneficial for scholarships and added advantages.

• Alliance University conducts Alliance-AMAT. Alliance-AMAT  (Alliance Management Aptitude Test) is conducted by Alliance University and is a gateway for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program offered at Alliance School of Business. It is an offline test conducted twice a year. 
• Alliance University Scholastic Aptitude Test or AUSAT is a gateway for admission to BBA, BTech, BCom (Hons) courses offered by Alliance School of Business. The exam is conducted in online mode. 
• ARAT or Alliance Research Aptitude Test is conducted for providing admission to PhD course.
