Candidates seeking for admission at Alpha College of Engineering to BTech must fulfil the basic eligiblity criteria of the course. Those who passed Class 12 with minimum 45% aggrgeate are eligible to apply for the course. However, they must have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/ Biology or Computer Application/ Computer Science as mandatory subjects. Moreover, candidates belonging to reserved category must obtain 35% aggregate in their final exam of Class 12.

The college accepts TNEA counselling scores for admission to BTech/B.E. and TANCET, GATE and CEETA exam scores for admission to MBA and M.E. respectively. Aspiring candidates must qualify for the eligibility criteria set by the institute for the desired course.

No, without TNEA counselling candidates cannot apply for the BTech programme at Alpha College of Engineering. To be eligible for admission to BTech/B.E., the candidates must apply and appear in the counselling round. Additionally, for other courses including M.E. and MBA, it is not mandatory to appear in TNEA counselling.
