I'm a graduate of BIT (Noida extension center) for BAM (B.Sc Animation and Multimedia) Batch of 2009, and think I can give you some insight.
If you wish to enter a field of animation, design, or film production, the course is structured in a way to expose you to the various disciplines from across the field. It's a glimpse into the insides, and nothing more. This does not mean that the course is bad. As far as foundation studies goes, it is quite strong and very methodical. Marks doesn't matter. You have to only qualify class 12th. Candidates who have passes +2 and have scored 55% aggregate in Maths/Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English are eligible for a Bachelor's degree. So, you can take admission.

Fee structure for BA in journalism and mass communication in Amity Mumbai is:
Total Fees: INR 2.58 lacs for 3 years. Each yeas - 86,000/-
One time refundable security deposit - 15,000/-
If you choose hostel facility then I would suggest you to go for AC rooms.Hostel fee details (if applicable): Non-AC room: Rs. 60,000/- per annum.
AC room: Rs. 1,00,000/- per annum.
One time refundable (security deposit) - Rs.10,000.

Entrance test has to deal with two rounds.
1. Only a creative test will be conducted where they give you any random topic to see your ability and capability and how creative you can be.
2. Personal interview related to the topic. Make sure to be ready with the current affairs.
