However, in terms of affordability, Ranchi University is more affordable since the tuition fees to pursue a BA at Ranchi University is INR 966 to INR 5.2 lakh, and the tuition fee to pursue a BA at Amity University Ranchi is INR 3.06 lakh.

Yes, Amity University, Ranchi, offers direct admission, or 'Fast Track' admission to eligible BTech aspirants. To be eligible for direct admission, candidates must have scored at least 80% in Class 12 and over 80 percentile in CUET UG. This provision is not applicable to candidates seeking admission to BTech in Computer Science & Engineering.

Candidates willing to secure BTech admission at Amity Ranchi must undergo a multi-step admission process. The first step is to submit a duly filled application form either in online or offline mode. Based on the received applications, applicants who fulfil the preset eligibility criteria are called for the selection rounds.
The selection rounds conducted by the university include an English language test, followed by GD/ Extempore/ Personal interview. A programme-based written test/ creative/ physical test may also be conducted (if required). Selected candidates must submit the prescribed fees for seat confirmation.
