The applications forms are first screened by the Committee on Postgraduate Programmes (CPGP) and shortlisted applicants are then called for an entrance test followed by an interview. Both the written test and the interview are usually conducted on the same day and the results are usually announced within a month time.

Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore admissions are entrance-based. The school considers national-level entrance exam scores for MBA admission. The entrance exam accepted are CAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, etc. Candidates can also appear for ACAT conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Besides, the school also conducts a written test for PhD programme. Selected candidates have to further come for a personal interview round for final selection.

No, candidates cannot join Amrita School of Business Coimbatore MBA programme without an entrance exam. The school accepts national-level Management entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, GRE, etc. for admission to MBA course. Candidates can also appear for Amrita Common Aptitude Test for admission. The test is usually held in March every year.
