National Institute of Mass Communication, Delhi is one of the best mass communication institutes in the country. You will be easily placed in good companies with decent packages. Yes, it will be very good to pursue a post graduation degree from this college. Best of luck.

You can select a course from the three: Mass Media, Mass Communication or in journalism. I would prefer you to work (host) for small events or any other opportunities you get, so that you develop in your field of interest.

You have to work hard to get a placement. I don't think this news reading career will help you in a longer run. Pursue a Mass Communication and Journalism course from the best colleges and University like NIMCJ. In this course, you will learn about print media, electronic media, digital media, Radio and many more.

If you want a comparison in RJ and anchoring (TV Anchoring) then of course the scope lies more in TV/Screen Anchoring. TV Anchoring/VJ/News Reader work. Besides, RJ work needs very good quality of voice and training.

Why not, it hardly matters from where and how you have passed class 12th examination, but the matter of fact is marks, so if it is up to the limit, then you can easily enroll for the same.

Hello Shivkrishn,
Definitely BA Media and mass communication will be best choice in terms of Anchoring, RJ and to be independent journalist/employed journalist it has wide scope. But, if you are determined to become RJ/hosting/anchoring only go for Diploma in RJ and News reading from Delhi University. All the Best for your future.
