There is no specific course for Radio Jockey and Anchoring, if you are doing it from a private institute. Pursue your career in Mass Communication, learn the basics then enter into RJ or anchoring. You can pursue mass communication from NIMCJ - Ahmedabad, MICA - Ahmedabad and many more.

You can select a course from the three: Mass Media, Mass Communication or in journalism. I would prefer you to work (host) for small events or any other opportunities you get, so that you develop in your field of interest.

You have to work hard to get a placement. I don't think this news reading career will help you in a longer run. Pursue a Mass Communication and Journalism course from the best colleges and University like NIMCJ. In this course, you will learn about print media, electronic media, digital media, Radio and many more.

If you want a comparison in RJ and anchoring (TV Anchoring) then of course the scope lies more in TV/Screen Anchoring. TV Anchoring/VJ/News Reader work. Besides, RJ work needs very good quality of voice and training.

You can apply for Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism as you have completed graduation from a recognized university.
You will still need to try your luck to become an RJ however you qualify to apply for the course Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism.
