The National Institute of Design (NID) Vijayawada accepts 75 students per year for its B.Des program. The B.Des programme is a four-year course offered in three specializations. The first two semesters are a Design Foundation Programme, followed by six semesters of study.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 38432 and closing rank was 43864 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 41226 and 43813. Admission to Chemical Engineering in NIT Andhra Pradesh is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam.
