I got 971 in IPE Andhra Pradesh state and 90 percentile in Mains. Which branch can I get among CSE, ECE and IT at Sastra University?

The bare minimum IPE markers cannot be used to merely express one number. However, 980+ is a sure thing. You are safe and have a chance of admission to SASTRA University if your percentile is higher than 95 percentile. The foundational disciplines, like CSE, ECE, and mech, are what you desire. Without a doubt, the percentile should range from 95 to 98. Then and only then do you stand a chance of getting a respectable branch. If your percentile is high let's say, over the 95th percentile you don't need any IPE markings at all. Numerous times, applicants with 930 IPE marks and high JEE Mains scores have been offered seats.

Based on previous year's admission data, it is unlikely that you will be able to get a seat in the CSE branch at VIT Andhra Pradesh with a rank of 1,17,588 in VITEEE. However, you may have a chance of getting admission in other branches such as Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc. It also depends on the number of seats available and the number of candidates applying for each branch. In Andhra EAMCET exam, students have to obtain a minimum of 25% marks. But there is no minimum passing mark for reserved category students. So you have to get a minimum of 50 marks in the test.

No, there is no negative marking in AP EAMCET. Candidates can attempt questions without fear of losing marks.

  • There is no negative marking scheme, i.e. 0 marks will be deducted for incorrect answers

  • Also, no marks are allotted or deducted in case of no attempts (leaving questions)
