It depends on the specialisation and the category you belong to. IIT JAM cutoffs vary for different specialisations, rounds, and categories. For the SC AI category, the IIT JAM 2025 cutoff ranged between 1014 and 2451 for MSc admission across multiple specialisations. So, with a cutoff rank of 1200, there is a chance you will gain admission at IIT Tirupati. However, the chances are that you will need to wait until the last round to see which specialisations are available based on your cutoff rank. IIT Tirupati accepts the IIT JAM entrance exam for admission to the MSc course across different categories belonging to the AI quota. The cutoff ranks vary for different rounds and categories. Considering the IIT JAM last-round cutoff 2025, the closing ranks varied between 307 and 686 for the General AI category students.
