B.Sc in Animation & VFX is a 3- year full-time undergraduate course in the discipline of Animation and Multimedia. The minimum eligibility for admission to the course is the successful completion of the 10+2 level of education from a recognized educational Board.
The course is essentially about the latest technologies and methodologies used in the field of visual effects and animations, such as cartoons, games, animated movies, etc.
The course is sub-divided into 6 semesters, of 6 months each.
The course can be pursued in the country at an average fee ranging between INR 2 and 6 Lacs, varying across institutes. Most institutes offering the course provide admission based on the candidates performance in a relevant entrance examination, followed by a round of counseling.
