This includes text, graphic, audio, video etc. VFX (Visual Effects) - Visual Effects (abbreviated VFX) are the processes by which imagery is created and/or manipulated outside the context of a live action shot. Like you've seen Spiderman, Superman etc. In movies and comics they were not real but after watching films we take it as real. So how come they got such powers and all that its basically visual effects. In VFX we animate live things or you can say live characters. We put live things to motion. Movies like Jurrasic park, superman, spiderman all comes in this category. All the best.

Hi Kothurmoulika, In simple terms, Animation is the process of making the illusion of motion and change by rapidly displaying set of static images that minimally differ from each other. This technique can be used to bring characters to life and make it appear like they are in motion!
Traditionally, stop motion techniques have been used to create animation sequences. It involves photographing the subject one frame at a time and then displaying these images in rapid succession at high frames per second. As an animator, you may make use of techniques like- 2D hand drawing, 2D Computer generated, 3D Computer generated, stop motion or model animation techniques to create animation sequences. The method depends on the specialisation that you have (through training and courses). Let us check out each course format and find important details about them-

It is evident from the list that Bachelors Degree courses are B.A. BFA BVA and B.Sc. Courses covering various aspects of Animation and Digital Art. These courses chiefly cover topics like- Animation, Digital Filmmaking, Visual Effects (VFX), 2D and 3D Animation. Duration: Bachelors Degree programs are UG Degree courses. The course duration is 3 years. Eligibility: Students who have passed 10+2 (any stream- Science, Commerce or Arts) from a recognised board are eligible to pursue this course. Minimum marks criteria may exist in case of some institutes (around 50% marks). Animation has emerged to become a very popular career choice among Indian students. Previously, this field was pretty much unknown to the masses. But in the last few years, this field has gained much attention and has since developed rapidly. Success of animation films and cartoons has greatly contributed to the growth of this field in India. Studios, film production houses and animation companies are pouring more and more money into this field in order to improve the quality of animation sequences present in their works. Hi Kanhaiya, I am an ex-MAAC student. It is among the worst college for animation. Don't go for any advertisement or any top 10 list. Student normally attracted to college/institute based on infrastructure and location. Good teaching faculty should be the first priority. There is generally only one good teacher in one branch whose pay grade is 30,000 - 70,000. Rest of teachers are getting salaries around 7,00018,000. MOST OF THE TIME you will be studying from the low salary teachers, who themselves don't know what they are teaching. This should give you an idea how much you are paying and what services you are getting. Generally, there is batch of 10 students paying rs 3,60,000 each for 3 years and they have been teach by rs 10,000 pay-grade teacher. This calculates as 90% profit ratio for the person owning that institute. (rent, maintenance, franchise charges extra. )
So, you are paying fees to college for your study and instead you will be fooled for 3 whole years. And at the end of 3 years you would know that college will only give placement to 34 students out of one batch. Pay scale of placement would be rs 10,000 per month. Don't go for college based on first presentation given by them instead go with the college after talking to students which are studying in that college. Seniors studying in last year will guide you with best answers. Extra Points- Exams and entrance test are just for formality in animation field. All the best.
