Focus on C+ to increase your chances of being hired, since this is used the most often in game programming. Other languages that are helpful include Actionscript, Assembly, C, Java, Objective-C, Python and Swift.

Game developers may be involved in various aspects of a game's creation from concept and story writing to the coding and programming. Other potential areas of work for a game developer include audio, design, production and visual arts.

Arena was once considered as a good institute for pursuing animation courses. But with time it has lost its reputation and animation skills, the faculty is also not well versed in the subjects.

I feel B Tech will be a good option compared with animation.

B.Design is a degree program whereas GDPD is a Diploma program offered by NID. It is always better to go for a degree program as most organization look for a degree as compared to Diploma. A degree holder is preferred over a diploma holder in the same field.

To apply for B.Sc in multimedia and animation, you must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
