Depending on the industry served or the medium, the junior designer may be called a graphic designer, UI/UX designer, visual designer, motion designer, digital designer, web designer, animator, production artist, or graphic artist.
To pursue a graphic design course, you need to have a Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field. As you have done your Master's degree in another field, you can opt for technical training in graphic design.

Hello,
Most of the graphic design these days are digitalized. You need to have a proper understanding of pixels, colors, patterns, algorithms, etc.
You can learn these separately taking any subject. But if you are sure if want to do graphic designing, this comes as a very niche segment in computer design.
You can go to colleges like NID (National Institute of Design)
Science will be helpful in this front. You can also go for computer engineering and post that do Masters in graphic designing.

Not at all. Doing Bachelor degree is not necessary because you already have technical degree and to learn VFX you can pursue diploma or master degree from some good institute like-NID, CEED, DSK, SYMBIOSIS, or MAAC. 1-2 year course is enough to learn VFX and rest lies on your hard work and creativity.

You may not be able to become Weapon Designer in DRDO / Indian Army on completion of 3D animation course. You are advised to do minimum B.Tech Mechanical or Electronics Engineering to join DRDO to fulfill your dream of becoming weapon designer.
