Dear Spandan, at a successful completion of the course with a presentable sample demo exhibiting your grip on software application and skills ,you can be absorbed in production house for 3D animation,3D Movie industry, animated tv series & AD's, In gaming industry, In architecture and visualization, In E-Learning, In live action film industry, simulation, product design and modeling , medical animation industry etc.Getting a job should not be a problem I believe.
Normally every institution in this domain will have a long placement list , rarely there will be a student who doesn't get a job after a successful completion of the course , p

Dear Jithendranath , drawing is normally considered to be an essential part of pre-production & normally VFX is a domain come in post production , hence, though may be directly its not mandatory but drawing is the most powerful tool to visualize an idea. Its not mandatory but definitely it got a huge role to play in creative field and its a big advantage for the people who know to draw :)
