Hello,
The basic eligibility criteria is:
Candidates who have cleared their class 12th examination are eligible to appear in this exam. He/she must have passed class 12th with at least 60% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Under the other-state quota, candidates who are Indian citizens but not a native of Tamil Nadu can apply. Qualifying Exam and Marks: Candidates need to score a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in PCM taken together (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) in HSC or equivalent exam.

Admission is through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions TNEA counselling based on the score obtained in NATA. Minimum eligibility to apply is that candidate should have cleared class 12th exams with Mandatory Subject : Mathematics. Other eligibility criteria:
Candidates having 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/State Government with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics or international baccalaureate Diploma passed/appearing after 10 years of Schooling with 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination are eligible to apply. Hello Ramya,
From this year, Tamil Nadu has decided to go away from CET and admit students to engineering based on marks obtained in 12th. Due to this it's almost impossible to predict how Dynamics of marks of12th plays out. But still I guess if you are amongst top 5000, you should get desired branch and college.
