Candidates seeking admission to Anna University MCA course must have passed a Bachelor's degree of a minimum 3 years duration in BCA, BSc (Information Technology /Computer Science), Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% in the case of candidates belonging to the reserved category). Apart from the minimum eligibility requirement, a valid score in the TANCET entrance exam is also compulsory to be eligible for Anna University MCA admission 2023.

University College of Engineering, Arni, Anna University has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
CoursesEligibility
B.E. / B.TechCandidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.
Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.

For Anna University MBA admission it is mandatory for students to have a bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Apart from the minimum eligibility requirement, it is also necessary to have a valid Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) score. Anna University conducted the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2023 exam in the month of February. Based on TANCET scores, Anna University will release a merit list of selected students to appear for the counselling process as a final selection process for Anna University MBA admission.

Candidates who wish to get Anna University MSc programme admissions must have passed Class 12 with Psysics, Chemistry & Mathematics with a min. of 50% aggregate. Anna University offers various merit and need-based scholarships to its students. Students are also eligible for availing a number of scholarships offered by the state and central government. Anna University also offers financial assistance to economically weak students. Details regarding a few of the Anna University scholarships are mentioned below:

Yes, candidates from other states are eligible to get admission to Jadavpur University and Anna University. However, you can also be admitted in the second year to Jadavpur and Anna Universities after you complete your Diploma.
