Annamalai University offers two BPharm courses, one General and another Lateral Entry. To get a seat in either of the courses, students must start by applying for the choice of course. After completion of the application stage. The university allocates seats based on students' merit in the qualifying examination. Those offered a seat must report to the university for verification of documents. Lastly, students must pay for admission to secure their seats.

Yes, Annamalai University offers an M.E. in various specialisations. M.E. is a postgraduate degree in the engineering discipline and is considered equivalent to an MTech. The duration of the programme is two years. The M.E. specialisations offers at AU are Computer Science & Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Structural Engineering, etc. Admission to the programme is entrance-based. Additionally, the university also offers a part-time MTech in Water Resource Engineering & Management.

Most of the universities and institutes accept candidates for its M.Tech programme based on fulfilment of a specified set of eligibility criteria. Similarily, for Annamalai University M.Tech admissions, the minimum marks required in graduation is 50%. Hence, a candidate scoring less than 60% is eligible to apply for admission at the institute if they have scored more than 50%.
