To be honest, it was very easy a few years back (5 to 6 years) but now that the university is now a government org, selection procedures are so formed so that outsiders (non Tamil Nadu) are not given any seats! Meaning, if B.Sc. In Annamalai university has 1000 seats only 50 to 75 will be given to out sides Yes that's how it is now! Other than that, the selection process is pretty basic in my opinion. The university was founded in 1929 by the entrepreneur Annamalai Chettiyar in the aftermath of the Montagu-Chelmsford Reforms. It was the first private university in India. It was taken over by the Tamil Nadu government in 2013. The university also provides more than 500 courses through distance education.

Annamalai University is a state university located in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It was established in 1929 as Annamalai University College and later upgraded to a full-fledged university in the year 1981. While Annamalai University is not a central government institution, it is funded by the government of Tamil Nadu and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Distance Education Council (DEC). Therefore, it can be considered as a government-affiliated institution but not a government institution in the strictest sense.

Yes, Annamalai University does offer M.Sc in clinical psychology. It is an integrated B.Sc. + M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology course which is a regular full time course of 5 years duration. Basic eligibility to apply for this course is that candidate should have cleared class 12 exams in the science stream from a recognized board. Regards.
