Annamalai University is ranked in the 101-150 rank band among the top universities by NIRF in 2022. The university also provides placement support to the students. It has not released course-wise placement statistics. However, as per the consolidated placement report, 370 students were placed. The highest and the lowest package offered was INR 5 LPA and INR 1.20 LPA, respectively. Hence, it is a good university for candidates wanting to pursue MBA.

Annamalai University BTech fees range between INR 1.5 Lacs - INR 7 lakh. The fee mentioned here is the total tuition fee with some other components and is taken from an unofficial source, hence is indicative. For the detailed fee structure, candidates are advised to contact the admission department of the University. The university offers four-year full-time BE/BTech courses in various specialisations on-campus and through affiliated colleges. In addition, apart from the regular BE degree, Annamalai University also offers part-time BE courses covering four specialisations. BE Lateral entry courses are also available. Admission to the UG courses is based on merit, seats are further allotted to the shortlisted candidates through TNEA counselling.
