The admission link will be activated along with the application form and Andhra Pradesh PGECET 2025 admission notification. Candidates who are appearing for Andhra Pradesh PGECET must qualify with at least 25% marks in the entrance exam and 50% in the respective educational degree, such as BTech. However, relaxation is offered to reserved category applicants, such as SC/ST/PwD. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can only apply for the entrance admission process.

The Andhra Pradesh PGECET exam pattern is as follows -

  • The mode of the Andhra Pradesh PGECET exam is online (computer-based test)
  • The duration of the CBT is two hours.
  • A total of 120 questions is asked (multiple-choice format)
  • The language mode of the Andhra Pradesh PGECET question paper is English.
  • For each correct answer, one mark is awarded. 
  • There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
  • There is no deduction for unattempted answers.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education conducts the Andhra Pradesh PGECET counselling. The admission counselling is held separately for GATE and Andhra Pradesh PGECET qualified candidates. The mode of the counselling is online and is conducted in two to three phases depending on the availability of the seats for admission.

The Andhra Pradesh PGECET 2025 preliminary and the final answer keys are used to provide candidates with correct responses to the questions asked in the exam. The difference between the preliminary and final answer key are as follows -

  • The preliminary key is released soon after the exam to allow candidates to review their answers. Candidates can raise objections if they believe any answer is incorrect, providing valid evidence.

  • The nationality of the candidate must be Indian.

  • Applicants with a domicile in Andhra Pradesh are also eligible for the Andhra Pradesh PGECET exam.
