APLAWCET Counselling

The interested candidates will have to carry the following documents during the counselling and document verification round:

3. AP LAWCET 2025 Application Form 
4. SSC/Intermediate/Equivalent Mark sheet
5. Qualifying Examination mark sheet 
6. Provisional/Degree Certificate
7. Residence Certificate 
8. SC/ST/Caste certificate
9. Migration Certificate
10. Transfer Certificate
11. Income Certificate or Ration Card
12. Sports/PH/NCC/CAP Certificates (if any)

Candidates also need to carry the admission fee to be paid at the time of counselling. 

There is criterion of minimum marks requirement for admission to a college through Andhra Pradesh LAWCET for candidates belonging to SC and ST categories. However, candidates of General category must score a minimum of 35% marks (42 marks out of 120 marks) to get admission to a college based on their Andhra Pradesh LAWCET scores. 

The college allotted to the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET 2026 test-taker will depend on the following factors: 

• Marks obtained by the candidate
• Cut off of the participating college
• Reservation criteria

The counselling is likely to be held in July 2023. The dates will be announced by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) on their website.

Andhra Pradesh LAWCET counselling is a process through which candidates who have qualified for the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET exam are allotted seats in law colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The counselling process is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

The counselling process is divided into several rounds. In each round, candidates are given the opportunity to choose their preferred law colleges. The seats are allotted to the candidates in order of merit, i.e., the candidates with the highest scores are given the first preference.

The web-entry option in Andhra Pradesh LAWCET counselling allows candidates to participate in the counselling process online. This saves time and effort, as candidates do not have to travel to any counselling centres. To use the web-entry option, candidates must first create a login ID and password on the APSCHE website.

A seat allotment letter is a document that is issued to candidates who have been allotted a seat in a law college through the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET counselling process. It contains the name of the law college, the course of study, the date of reporting to the college, and the fees payable.

To check your Andhra Pradesh LAWCET seat allotment result 2023, go to the APSCHE website and enter your application number and date of birth. You can also check your seat allotment result by SMS.

The first round of seat allotment will be released in July 2023. The subsequent rounds of seat allotment will be released as per the schedule announced by the APSCHE.
