The interested candidates will have to carry the following documents during the counselling and document verification round:
- Rank card/ result card for Andhra Pradesh LAWCET 2025
- AP LAWCET 2025 Hall Ticket/ Admit Card
- AP LAWCET 2025 Application Form
- SSC/Intermediate/Equivalent Mark sheet
- Qualifying Examination mark sheet
- Provisional/Degree Certificate
- Residence Certificate
- SC/ST/Caste certificate
- Migration Certificate
- Transfer Certificate
- Income Certificate or Ration Card
- Sports/PH/NCC/CAP Certificates (if any)
Candidates also need to carry the admission fee to be paid at the time of counselling.

Candidates who participated in the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET 2025 exam and secured a rank will have to participate in the counselling process. The counselling will be held in multiple rounds and involves following steps:
- Candidates will have to register online for the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET Counselling
- Selection of web-option entry wherein candidates will have to select their preferred college for admission
- Based on the marks secured and college preferences, seat alotment process will be done
- Candidates will have to confirm their seats during the seat allotment process
- The seat allotment list for round 1 will be published at cets.apsch

To register for the AP LAWCET counselling, candidates need to visit the official counselling website, lawcet-sche.aptonline.in and follow the steps mentioned below:
- Go to the official counselling portal - lawcet-sche.aptonline.in.
- Click on the registration link.
- Log in by using your AP LAWCET hall ticket number and date of birth.
- Enter your basic details, including name, parents' names, address for communication qualification, AP LAWCET score and category/reservation-related details.
- Upload required ID proofs, educational certificates and category-related documents (if applicable).
- Pay the counselling

There is criterion of minimum marks requirement for admission to a college through Andhra Pradesh LAWCET for candidates belonging to SC and ST categories. However, candidates of General category must score a minimum of 35% marks (42 marks out of 120 marks) to get admission to a college based on their Andhra Pradesh LAWCET scores.
The college allotted to the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET 2025 test-taker will depend on the following factors:
- Marks obtained by the candidate
- Cut off of the participating college
- Reservation criteria

Andhra Pradesh LAWCET counselling is a process through which candidates who have qualified for the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET exam are allotted seats in law colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The counselling process is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).
The counselling process is divided into several rounds. In each round, candidates are given the opportunity to choose their preferred law colleges. The seats are allotted to the candidates in order of merit, i.e., the candidates with the highest scores are given the first preference.
