Hi,
You have forgotten to mention the institution about whose hostel you have asked. I have known of many colleges and universities where such a system exists, mostly, in fact in private universities only. If you feel that you have a big amount to spend then you may take a call for the AC one. Otherwise, I believe that as students we must not run after pleasures and facilities like these. To be good in architecture, AC or non-AC won't do any difference.

Both civil and architecture are different things but the common thing in civil and architecture is the part of creativity which you need in both the fields. In architecture, you need more creativity then civil. But for today concern or if you were thinking about government jobs, I think civil branch is a better option. Civil branch can provide you with a platform to go with PSU sectors or with government jobs. So, it also depends on your calibre that whether you want to choose civil engineering or architecture, it's your choice.

Hi, Salary depends in any field solely upon your performance. Both courses are equally good. One should always choose the course in which they have interest in. Please refer the link below for your reference:

Hello, hope you are doing well.
Yes, definitely, you are eligible to get NIT on the basis of OBC NCL ranking because with CRL ranking, it may not be possible to get an NIT. You should try for MANIT Bhopal, NIT Warangal, NIT Calicut, etc.
Also, you have a chance to opt for IITs also. Find the best one and go for counselling.
All the best.
