Architecture Entrance Exam

There aren't any specific marks because each year scenario keeps on changing. Approximately 150k-180k students give B.Arch Paper each year.
Till this year board's percentage was included. One of my friends gave this exam. He gave Paper-2 last year and scored 220/390 with 88% in CBSE and my rank was 5678. Unfortunately, this rank can't land me in any of those spans and NITs. My boards ruined it. From next year on as board rule has been ripped off, you will need to score 2030 marks less than you needed now. If I score 220 in 2017, my approximate rank would be around 3k. This means that anything above 250 is going to be a top score. You score 240+ and you'll find yourself in SPA Delhi. Paper-2 is not difficult. You just need to practice JEE level mathematics and that's it. Drawing portion is immensely easy to do.
You can have a look on some of the JEE drawing questions a week prior to your exam and that would be more than enough. If you've got aesthetic sensibility then you can skip practice for aptitude section as well. I never felt any sort of difficulty in that section. Just go through some history and general knowledge of architecture. That would be enough for you to score 240+. In B.Arch all top Spans and NITs close their ranks at 3k. If you want to get into SPA Delhi, you'll need an AIR of below 800. For other colleges, you need to give NATA exam.

In case you don't get your desired college, don't settle for something mediocre college. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if your try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Arch. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both.
