All degree Indian students can work on-campus while studying at Arkansas State University. Visa holders cannot exceed 20 hours per week while school is in session for employment. Students will be eligible to work up to 28 hours per week during official school breaks. This includes the summer break. Note that students must have attended one academic year and not be enrolled in class to be able to work the 28 hours in summer during school breaks.

To get into Arkansas State University, the general admission requirements that international students are required to meet are given below:
- Undergraduate: A minimum GPA of 2.3 in secondary / high school work
- Graduate: To pursue graduate courses, the applicants are required to have an undergraduate GPA of 2.75. In case, the applicants have any previous master’s / graduate degree, then the overall GPA required is 3.0
