You have the options of Punjab Category and All India Civil category but the decision must be made with absolute precision and thought. In order to appear in the metro list through Punjab Category, you would need considerably a high amount of percentage in Class 12th. Last time the Merit Cut-off for Punjab Category, I. e. 16 seats, went as low as 96%, not lower than that. Now, if you are sure of getting a high percentage such as this, then do apply through Punjab Category. Otherwise, don't. Now the next option that you have is of All India Civil Category. It isn't. You must have got to know by now that the total number of seats are 80. The distribution goes like 60 for Army wards, 16 for Punjab Civil Category and 4 for All India Civil category. The written exam is of 200 marks and without negative marking.
You will be giving the exam to secure one of the 4 seats. The written exam is not that tough but since the seats are limited, it can be a little challenging.

No, you cannot migrate to Army Institute of Law. They do not accept Lateral entry.
Admission in B.A. LL.B. is through counselling based on the rank obtained in Entrance test conducted by the Army Welfare Education Society.
