Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering and Army Institute of Technology both are renowned universities for B.E. / B.Tech. However, in terms of affordability, Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering is a better option since the total tuition fee for Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering is INR 360,000 - INR 497,388 and the total tuition fee for B.E. / B.Tech at Army Institute of Technology is INR 676,000.
In the total fees that students generally end up paying the university or the college, various other components are also included, such as the exam fee, application fee, lab and other charges.

Admission to the Army Institute of Technology (AIT) Pune's Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (E&TC) programme may be difficult, but not impossible, with a 90.06 percentile and a 148954 Common Rank List (CRL) rank in JEE Mains. AIT Pune generally admits people with a defence background, and the cutoff ranks change year according on the amount of applicants and available seats. While your rank is higher, you may still have a chance, especially if you meet the defence quota. It is recommended that you review the most recent cutoffs, participate in the counselling process, and look at other good engineering colleges.

There is no latest cutoff information for M.E. in Data Science at the Army Institute of Technology (AIT) Pune. Cutoffs can vary each year based on factors such as the number of applicants, their performance in entrance exams, and the availability of seats. To obtain the most accurate and up-to-date cutoff information for M.E. in Data Science at AIT Pune, I recommend contacting their admissions office directly.

Based on the reviews provided, the Army Institute of Technology is a good college for M.Tech. The college follows the Savitribhaii Phule University course curriculum and has excellent faculty. The teaching quality is very good with regular practicals and assignments. Infosys, Microsoft, Deloitte, ZS, Veritas, and TCS are some big companies that visit the college. Proper training before the placements is provided well in advance.

Getting direct admission to the B.Tech programs at the Army Institute of Technology (AIT) is not availaible apart from some exceptions. Usually, they fill their seats through entrance exams like the JEE Main.

Sometimes, if there are seats left after the regular admission or if a candidate falls into a special category like being a child of defense personal or maybe an outstanding athlete, then they might get direct admission.

You can check AIT website for the latest information on admission procedures and criteria.
