At PG level M.E. Data Science is given to the students, with the duration of 2 years and seat intake of 24 students. For doing M.E. from this college the students need bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technology in an eligible branch with a minimum score of 50%. The institute also offers PhD in Computer Engineering.

UG level Engineering course like B.E. is the most popular programme offered to the students at AIT. The courses include B.E Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, B.E Computer Engineering, B.E Information Technology, etc. The duration of these courses are of 4 years with the seat intake ranging from 60 to 120 depending on the stream. Well qualified faculty are there to help students in attaining the highest standards in academics and professional skills.

Yes, hostel facilities are offered to the students at Army Institute of Technology. The hostels are given to both boys and girls pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in AIT Campus. Boys hostels can accommodate 1130 students while Girls hostel has the capacity for 175 students. Wi-fi, Study hall, Power backup, Gym, Medical, etc. facilities are given to the students living in hostels.

Army Institute of Technology offers a great library facilities. The AIT library is open to all students and staff members. The library has a very technical bent and, as of 2025, had 12,585 titles and 36,998 volumes of print books, and subscribed to 985 e-journals, 1,961 e-books, DELNET Database and 30 print national periodicals.

Yes, candidates can get admissions into the Army Institute of Technology, BTech course with appearing for the JEE. However, these candidates must appear for the MHT-CET in order to qualify for BTech admissions at Army Institute of Technology.

Appearing for either one of the aforementioned entrance exam is a mandatory requirement for Army Institute of Technology, BTech admissions.

Army Institute of Technology Pune is one of the top colleges in India in the field of Engineering. It is accredited by NAAC with a Grade A. NBA accreditation is given for all UG Programmes. It also has approval of AICTE. In 2025 the college got NIRF rank of #201-300 in the Engineering category.

The cutoffs of Army Institute of Technology for the year 2026 are not out yet & will be updated once released by the college. For B.E. programmes the cutoff is released on the basis of the JEE (Main) score. Every year there are changes in cutoffs based on the level of competition, category and the number of seats available
