Yes, if you're passionate about creative writing, there are a couple of good options in India to pursue it seriously. Srishti Manipal Institute in Bengaluru offers a dedicated BFA in Creative & Professional Writing, where you'll need to take their entrance exam (SMEAT) and possibly go through an interview. You just need to have passed Class 12 with around 50% marks, preferably with English or Hindi. Another option is through Delhi University, where you can apply under the ECA (Extracurricular Activities) quota for Creative Writing. Yes, the college conducts ACAD Entrance Test for admission to BFA course. It is an online admission test of 120 minutes duration. Candidates can attempt the test in Hindi or English language. Further, candidates can submit their portfolio for early admissions along with an art work (optional). The college calls shortlisted candidates for PI round for final selection. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the college.
