Bachelor’s degree in any branch of engineering/technology from a recognised university with at least 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA is the eligibility criteria for PhD in NIT Arunachal Pradesh.

As per the latest report, the CSE branch recorded the highest number of students placed during NIT Arunachal Pradesh placements 2024. The second in the sequence was the ECE branch. The overall NIT Arunachal Pradesh placement percentage for the academic year 2021-22 stood at 48.30%. The institute has also released the branch-wise placement rate. Currently, applications are being taken for a variety of 2023 courses. GATE CCMT Special Round 1 will be made accessible on August 2. NIT Arunachal Pradesh has not made the placement report for 2023 public. Earlier, 124 students participated in the interview, and 71 of them were assigned to the class of 2022.

The CSE department received the most job offers (44), followed by the ECE department (23). NITAP even pitched in to assist. NITAP provides good job placement opportunities. The average compensation package in 2021 was INR 6.89 LPA.The average salary package in the previous year was INR 6.48 LPA
