Ashoka University does offer BA courses for three years, divided into six semesters. The university offers several specialisations in BA courses, such as BA (Hons) in Economics, BA (Hons) in Political Science, BA (Hons) in English, BA (Hons) in History, etc. Students have to complete class 12 from a recognised board. Then appear for Ashoka Aptitude Assessment, followed by a personal Interview. Candidates will be evaluated on their consistent academic performance, aptitude test and interview scores.

The total number of students placed during Ashoka University placements 2025 was 437. The 2024 batch comprised 1,110 students. Out of these 355 students opted for placements and 311 opted for higher education, family business, entrepreneurship, competitive exams and pursuing a gap year. Since the aptitude test is conducted for admissions in undergraduate programmes, the difficulty level is quite moderate. Questions from the quantitative aptitude section are moderately difficult but pretty easy for students who have opted for mathematics in classes 11 and 12. The English section is a bit tougher and tricky, however, not extremely difficult.

Out of the 75 questions asked, 20 are from the quantitative aptitude section. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. Broadly, the questions will be based on topics like percentages, simple and compound interest, averages, ratios and proportions, mid-point gradients, geometry (triangles, circles, constructions), trigonometry, area and perimeter, etc.
