Hi,
There's no second thought before I write this. Of course, it has to be NID, as it's an institute of national importance. AAFT, on the other hand is a private institute and is known for B.Des as well. NID is best known for design courses, and you will have ample of opportunities after passing out from there. Coming to it's placements, several graduates tend to start their own studio. According to LinkedIn, 377 out of 3500 graduates are Entrepreneurs (Nowhere close to the 60% stat by Sumit Shah, but I hope he can give some source). Popular companies (based on no. Of NIDians employed) are Cognizant, Microsoft, SAP, Adobe, Samsung, Godr

After doing M.Des from AAFT, you get opportunities to work with reputed names with extensive practical oriented classes along with exposure in the industry as well as you have the opportunity to showcase your talent through various fashion events conducted every 3-4 months.
