Yes, there are B.E./B.Tech admissions in Asian College of Engineering and Technology (ACET) that do not require TNEA. Whereas TNEA is one of the selection factors, at ACET also, Direct Entry on the basis of academic merit (Class 12 marks) is offered. Admission generally is acceptable on the basis of a minimum of 45 percent over-all in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12. The Online admissions can be done by log in through the official site of the college. To get certain information concerning the direct admission process, it is rather advisable to address the admissions office of ACET.

In order to have a chance of getting an admission to ASCOT, the applicants should have passed the 10+2 with Physics, chemistry and mathematics as the core subjects scoring at least 45% in the aggregate (40 percent in reserved categories) to be able to get a chance at admissions from the UG to the B.E/B.Tech courses. The Tamil Nadu Engineering admissions (TNEA) is the most common mode of admissions through Class 12th scores. In case of PG programs such as M.E. a Bachelor level degree relevant with passing score in TANCET or GATE is necessary.
