Admission to a full-time PGDM course at IIBR Pune is inclusive of multiple steps of selection. Candidates are evaluated based on the following selection parameters:
- Academic Performance in Class 12 and Graduation.
- Score in any one of the six All India tests i.e. (CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT) or the common entrance examinations.
- Performance in Group Discussion & Personal Interview rounds.
- Weightage for participation in Extra-Curricular activities, Sports, Academic diversity and Gender diversity.

No, studying at the IIBR Pune is not free. The students must pay the fee on time to avoid the late fee submission charges. Audyogik Shikshan Mandal (ASM) Group of Institutes was established in 1983. This group has more than seven institutes under it. One of the institutes, IIBR Pune is approved by AICTE, Government of India, and was promoted in 1995 by ASM in association with MCCIA. The college placements are good and the college is visited by top companies for placements such as Infosys, ICICI Bank, Capgemini, and others.
