Not all subjects have practical or project-based marks, but subjects like Science, Computer Science, and sometimes English include them. These marks are usually given through school activities or internal assessments. The practical part is important and can help increase your total score. Even if the marks are few, they make a big difference in your final result. So students should take them seriously and complete all assigned tasks.

The Assam HSLC exam is conducted in a written format, typically comprising objective and subjective questions. The objective section includes multiple-choice questions (MCQs), while the subjective section contains short and long-answer questions. The exams are held for core subjects like Mathematics, Science, English, Social Science, and regional or elective languages. Each subject is generally marked out of 100, with practicals applicable to subjects like Science and IT.

Yes, most question papers follow a fixed structure where marks are divided among long answer, short answer, and very short answer questions. Long answer questions carry more marks and test your understanding deeply. Short answer questions check your basic knowledge and writing skills. The Assam class 10 exam pattern is designed to test different levels of learning. Practicing previous papers can help you get used to the structure.

Marks in Assam HSLC exams are typically distributed based on the nature of the subject. For most theory-based subjects, 100 marks are allotted per subject. However, subjects like Science and IT have a theory-practical split, where the theory portion carries 70 marks, and practicals account for 30 marks. Students need to score a minimum of 30% in each subject to pass the examination, including passing in both theory and practicals separately where applicable.

As of now, the Assam board has not made any changes in the SEBA HSLC exam pattern. The board will soon prescribe the exam pattern in the form of a model question paper. Last year, the Assam board made some changes in the Assam HSLC exam pattern 2025. An OMR sheet will be given to answer the objective-type questions (50% of total marks) carrying 1 mark each for the core subjects. The chances of making any change in the Assam Board 10th exam pattern this year is very les. However, in case any change made in the exam pattern for the upcoming board exam, we will update the same.
