Assam HSLC

The exam comprises 6 subjects namely AII Mil, English, English (IL), Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. The total mark of the Assam HSLC Board exam is 600. 100 marks is distributed in each subject in the SEBA 10th board exams. Only Science paper has practical exams. Out of 100, 90 marks are distributed for theory exams. On the other hand, 10 marks are for Internal/practical exams.

The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) prescribed the exam pattern for the class 10 exams. The students must note that the SEBA exam pattern is prescribed in the form of Assam HSLC model paper. Students can download the Assam HSLC sample paper online on board's website. Students need to check the exam pattern to be aware of how the final board exams will be conducted.

As of now, the Assam board has not made any changes in the SEBA HSLC exam pattern. The board will soon prescribe the exam pattern in the form of a model question paper. Last year, the Assam board made some changes in the Assam HSLC exam pattern 2026. An OMR sheet will be given to answer the objective-type questions (50% of total marks) carrying 1 mark each for the core subjects. The chances of making any change in the Assam Board 10th exam pattern this year is very les. However, in case any change made in the exam pattern for the upcoming board exam, we will update the same.

 The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) released the Assam SEBA HSLC syllabus for the students. The syllabus for the Assam Board 10th exam is available on the official website as PDF files. SEBA 10th syllabus includes a detailed breakdown of all the chapters and topic that will be covered in the exam. SEBA HSLC result 2026 is expected to be out in April 2026. Once released, you can check your Assam HSLC result either on the official website or using the SMS facility. Math is considered the most difficult subject for students. Clearing the Math paper in class 12 exams with good marks requires a genuine effort. Hence, the students must prepare for all the topics included in the Assam 10th math syllabus. However, these are the topics that are considered important for the exam:

• Triangles
• Coordinate Geometry
• Introduction to Trigonometry

The above-mentioned topics of Maths Assam HSLC syllabus carry a weightage of 8 marks each.

The Assam State School Education Board (Division-I) will announce the final SEBA result 2026 Board in April 2026. The board released the SEBA HSLC result 2026 online on its website. Students need to visit the official website at resultsassam.nic.in and sebaonline.org to check the result. The students can check their result on the official website using their roll number.

In 2025, the board result the SEBA HSLC result on April 11, 2025.

The duration of each SEBA 10th exam is 3 hours (180 minutes) and the students need to secure minimum 33 percent marks in the exam. The overall difficulty level of the Assam Class 10 Exams is Easy to Moderate. Questions are asked from the entire Assam HSLC syllabus 2024-25. If you pay attention to covering the entire syllabus, your chances to secure high marks in the exam will increase. Students are also advised to practice the Assam HSLC model paper and previous years model paper.

The board announced the Assam HSLC routine 2026. Students can access the same online on board's website at sebaonline.org. The class 10 exams are scheduled from February 10 to 27, 2026. The exams are held in two shifts. The first shift exams will be conducted from 9:00 am to 12:00 and the second shift exams will be conducted from 1:30 pm to 04:30 pm.
