There are more than 30 colleges that are affiliated with Assam University and offer BA courses in various specialisations. The the highest number of BA seats are offered by Janata College. The seat intake is 5,090. This college offers BA courses in several specialisations such as Hindi, Political Science, Economics, Environmental Studies, etc.
