No, considering the selection process and the document requirements of the university, taking admission is not easy at Aston University, students are required to attain scores equivalent to 2.2 honours as per the UK qualification along with other documents such as Academic Certificates; SOP; Evidence of English language; passport; CV or Resume; test scores and other requirements.
For some of the courses, the university may ask for an interview as a part of their selection process

Yes, Aston University requires interviews for their MBA courses and it is a compulsory part of the selection process. Once the student's application is reviewed, applicants are called for an interview through email. Students needed to meet the eligibility requirement that included a 2:2 honours degree as per the UK qualification or international equivalent degree along with 3 years of work experience.
For the enrollment of international students at the university, English language test scores are required as a part of selection process.

According to the table given below for difference among the similarly ranked UK universities, the University of Glasgow ranks the best, despite moving to #14 from #13 in the year 2024. Aston University is not that far though.

For the UK-based universities only, The Guardian University Guide rankings are realized. Some of the few indicators that are used to compute the rankings of these universities are entry standards, student-staff ratio, teaching quality, feedback, career prospects, etc.
Aston University ranks at #21, which is an increase of 4 spots as the university ranked lower in the year 2024 which was rank #25. The rankings given by The Guardian are fluctuating as since the year 2023. The Business and Management programs at this university are ranking at #32 for the year 2025. For most of the programs, these rankings are improving year on year.
