IIITM Gwalior generally does not offer direct admission. Students have to appear for the accepted exams and clear the counselling/ selection rounds. Admissions are entrance-based only. Hence, no, students can not get direct admission in the ABV IIITM.

To get admission in IIITM Gwalior, students have to check eligibility. Eligible students can apply online. The institute offers entrance-based admissions. Students have to appear for the accepted entrance followed by counselling. The exams include JEE Main/ CAT/ MAT/ CUET/ ATMA/ GATE, and more. Selected students have to report for verification and pay the admission fees to complete the process.

IIITM Gwalior offers PhD, PG, & UG programmes to students. All of these programmes are given across the Engineering, Management, & several other streams. At the undergraduate level, the available programmes are BTech. At the postgraduate level, the available programmes are MBA, MTech, etc. There are also PhD programmes available in the college.

Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management (IIITM) in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh is an autonomous college which is set by the Gov. of India, MHRD in 1997. As of now, the approval data is not there on the official site.

The total tuition fee for the BTech programme IIITM Gwalior is INR 6.3 lakh. The fee excludes various elements which the students will have to pay additional like hostel charges, cultural activity fee, medical charges, and several other fee details. Students must not forget to pay the fee in time.

In 2025, the closing rank for M.Tech CSE at IIITM Gwalior under general category for all India quota was 529. Likewise, the cut off ranks for OBC AI quota was 486 for the CSE specialisation. Students should aim for atleast a score of 529 or higher to secure admissions at IIIT Gwalior for M.Tech CSE. Though the exact cutoff may vary depending on the number of candidates appearing for the examination, the difficulty level, past year trend cycle, etc.

Admissions to IIITM Gwalior is offered on the basis of valid entrance scores of the accepted exams. For courses such as MTech, candidates must qualify for GATE exam with a valid score. Candidates need to go for CCMT counselling for the final allocation of the Institute, based on the preferences drawn by the candidate.
