Hi,
Off course, an ECE Graduate can be a part of Automobile Industry. Since most of the vehicles today consists of various microprocessors/microcontrollers and sensors for their automatic locomotion. So this kind of automation work can only be done either by an Electronics Engineer or by an Electrical Engineer. Also the production plant works on PLCs which can only be programmed by ECE or EEE graduate student. All the Automobiles will have embedded systems and communication systems in them. Hi Rohit,
Lateral entry means, you have already completed your Diploma. Instead of four years, you will get a engineering degree in just three years. You will get admission directly in second year. That's it.
