Chennai is best for automobile engineering. Anna University is a very good and most reputed college in India after IITs and NITs. Madras Institute of Technology which is affiliated to Anna University is best for automobile engineering. Thank you.

No, this college is not good for the automobile this college is only made with the mindset of CS and IT branches and not for the automobile.

These branches are the advanced version of the traditional branches in the nanotechnology. You will get to know how you can make more compatible products that are used in day to day life. In automobile engineering, you will get to know more about the vehicles and there more compactness.

I'll prefer you to opt for the automobile engineering, as this branch has better scope than mechatronics as well as the pack of automobile branch is far better than this branch in SRM.

Hello Ashish,
Given below are some basic criteria one has to fulfil so as to get admission in Anna University. The basic eligibility criteria for both the courses is that one needs to have passed HSC Examination or equivalent from any recognised education board. Admission to both the courses are made through entrance test. There are separate entrance tests for the courses. The selection of candidates for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission TNEA 2018 will be based on the marks obtained in the prescribed subjects reduced to 200 (Mathematics 100, Physics + Chemistry 100 in the qualifying examination). Degree has more value than 1 year course, as you will cover and practice the same curriculum over span of 3- 4 years than in 1 year. Good luck.

To be clear, you will not be called as an engineer. You will be called a student who has just completed the certification. To be honest, nowadays the competition so tough that even the students who are completing their 4-year degree course, i.e. engineers are struggling to get jobs.
