Azim Premji University conducts an entrance exam that is university-based, i.e., an in-house entrance examination for the admission and CUET PG. For getting admission in APU, the entrance exam is one of the major selection processes, and for eligibility, the candidate should have a graduation degree in any discipline. The university accepts CUET PG scores for admissions to MSc courses at APU Bangalore. Additionally, the university also accepts the scores of its in-house, university-level entrance examination (Azim Premji University National Entrance Test). This in-house entrance is mainly for those candidates whose graduation results are awaited and who can apply for MSc courses through the previous semester's result and can appear in this examination. Further, for the selection process, candidates should appear for PI.

The eligibility criteria to get admissions into MSc courses at Azim Premji University is that candidates must complete their bachelor's degree from the recognised university. Additionally, ideal candidates should possess basic mathematical and analytical skills to succeed in this programme.
