Yes, It is worth doing, You will get better opportunities then other subject, as compared its scope is more better and you will get job more quick. Like even you can do tuition for classes 11 & 12 if you go for PG in economics will be better you will get more job opportunities, and you must process interest in analyzing and logical reasoning and math till 12 class as these are the basic further economics is very interesting to study.

The eligibility criteria of B.A. (Hons) Economics of JMI is given below.
Eligibility: B.A. (Hons) Economics/ B.A. (Bachelor of Business Administration)
Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of best 5-papers. So, Mathematics is not mandatory in 12th as per Prospectus 2021-22.
