B.A Eligibility

Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce BA admission 2025 are currently ongoing at the institute. To take admission in the BA programme, candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria. Candidates who want to take admission in the BA programme at KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce must have either passed Class 12 examination or must have passed Class 12 examination with vocational subject conducted by the different boards of the Maharashtra state board of secondary and higher secondary education.

The eligibility required for B.A. (Hons.) English at MIT School of Humanities is that candidate should have passed Class 12 with 50% aggregate or equivalent with CGPA 5 and above.

Candidate seeking admission to MIT SOH BA (Hons) in English must have passed class 12 with a minimum 50% aggregate or equivalent with CGPA 5 and above. MIT School of Humanities shortlists candidates based on the Statement of Purpose submitted by the candidate. 

Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent to enrol in the BA honours programme in Design at the Roots College of Design Film and Media. At the time of admission or application form filling, student should keep the pass certificate handy.

Candidates seeking admission to BA course at Ashoka University must have passed Class 12 in a relevant stream (Science/ Arts/ Commerce) from a recognised board or organisation. Apart from the minimum eligibility criteria, students are also required to appear for the Ashoka Aptitude Test (AAT), conducted by Ashoka University.

• Candidates who have appeared/cleared class 12th board exams can apply for our B.A./B.Sc. (Hons.) or B.Tech. programs. Students awaiting the Class 12th results can still apply with Class 10th marks.
• Students have no restriction with respect to the board of study. However, students from IGSE/IB boards should provide an equivalence certificate at the time of joining.
• Maths and Physics in Class XII are mandatory for students who opt for B.Tech. in Computer Science or Computing and Data Science. Maths in Class XII is mandatory for students who opt for B.Tech. in Data Science.

Presidency University, Kolkata admissions 2024 for BA course will start soon. The university offers eight BA courses in two streams, i.e., Humanities and Social Science and Science. The eligibility for the course is to pass Class 12 with 60% to 65% aggregate and the selection criteria is through PUBDET. To be eligible for the program, applicants must have completed the 10+2 level in humanities, science, or commerce with a minimum aggregate of 60% from recognised boards.

Candidates need to complete a minimum of Class 12 to apply for Bundelkhand University BA/ BA (Hons) courses. The eligibility criteria is same across all the specialisations. Below is BU Jhansi BA detailed eligibility criteria:

• Candidates need to complete Class 12 with at least 40% aggregate to apply for Bundelkhand University BA (Hons) programme.
• For BA Mass Communication and Journalism, the minimum aggregate in Class 12 is not specified.
