I believe a BDes degree in Fashion Design has more employment and higher salary prospects than a BA, especially when it comes to the creative and technical elements in the Fashion field. A BA in Fashion Design is more focused on the theoretical aspect of Fashion, like principles, history, and focus. For BA Fashion Design graduates, it is advisable to pursue further education, like a master's degree or a Diploma course.

Hi, I believe this is subjective and depends on your expertise and interest. While some students may find technical Fashion Design subjects like CAD, Illustration Art and Flat Rendering, Fabric Testing, Quality Control, etc., hard, some may find theoretical subjects like History of Art, History of Indian and Western costumes, Art appreciation, etc., tougher.

Having a portfolio during any BA course admission is a plus, however, it is not mandatory in case of BA Fashion Design admission. Portfolios are generally required during a GDPI (Group Discussion and Personal Interview) round, which is usually conducted for master-level courses.
