The rank needed for Kishinchand Chellaram College admission to various UG-level courses, like General, OBC, SC, etc. The cutoff was out in the form of percentiles for various All India quota categories. 

For the General AI category, the minimum percentile needed was 61, according to the 2nd round of counselling. This percentile was for the B.A. in Film Making and Media Production course. 

Students can refer to the table below to know the minimum percentile acceptable for each category.

Konkan Gyanpeeth Uran College of Commerce and Arts cutoff 2026 for admission to the BA course was 35 in the first round for students belonging to the General AI quota. Similarly, for the OBC and SC categories, the first round cutoff percentages were 40.5 and 46.17,  respectively, for the same category.

The college provides merit and government scholarships to BA students. The merit scholarship based on academic performance and attendance of student. Students can check more about offered scholarships on the MahaDBT portal.

The course is offered in full-time mode for three years. Admissions are completely merit-based and no entrance exam is required. Total fee for the course is around INR 1.08 lakh. The college provides many placement opportunities as well for students. The highest package recorded as per the latest placement report is INR 3 LPA.

The course includes many subjects. The syllabus is divided in six semesters. Different subjects are taught in each semester. The curriculum focuses on media, communication, etc. Some first semester subjects are Introduction to Commerce (OE), Marketing Mix I, Communication Skills in English I (BA), etc.

Total 180 seats in the course are offered by college. The seats are allotted to students who clear cutoff. Seat allotment process is conducted by college itself. It is completely merit-based. Students can find the merit list on the official college website.

The average package offered to BAMMC students is INR 2.3 LPA, as per the latest placement stats. The highest CTC recorded is INR 3 LPA. The college conducts a Job Fair for students. All students can apply for different positions and companies. Some renowned recruiters are IDFC Bank, Motilal Oswal, Vijay Sales, etc.

  • Passport size photo.
  • Scanned copy of signature.
  • University Pre-registration form.
  • HSC marksheet and leaving certificate.
  • SSC Passing Certificate.
  • ABC ID
  • Aadhar Card
  • Gujarati Linguistic Minority Certificate (if applicable).
  • Any other certificate if applicable. (Eg. Physically challenged, Children with special needs like learning disability etc.)

Yes, admissions in BA at VVUC can be taken directly on the basis of Class 12 marks. Students wanting admissions have to submit an application form with all the documents attached. The application fee is INR 100. Applications can be submitted online or offline.
