You can actually start your application for the BA programme even before your final results are out. GD Goenka University allows students to apply with their "Result Awaited" status using their Class 10 marks and Class 12 admit cards. If you clear the entrance interview, you may receive a provisional admission offer. However, your admission will only be finalized once you submit your official Class 12 passing certificate and meet the minimum BA eligibility requirements set by the university.

There is no strict upper age limit, but you must have completed your 10+2 education to apply for the BA in Culinary Arts. GD Goenka University requires International Baccalaureate (IB) students to have passed with 3 Higher Level and 3 Standard Level subjects. Because this course is physically demanding and involves professional kitchen work, a general fitness level and a passion for the food industry are highly valued during the selection process to ensure you can handle the practical curriculum.

GD Goenka University generally requires a successful pass in your 12th-grade examinations from CBSE, ICSE, or an equivalent board. For the BA program, the university looks for a consistent academic record and a strong interest in the chosen subject. If you are applying for specialised tracks like Culinary Arts, they also recommend having basic Mathematics until Grade 10. Meeting the basic passing criteria is the first step toward qualifying for the next admission rounds.

After completing the 12th, the students can appear for an online entrance exam which is the CUCET exam. On the basis of the score of the student, scholarships are awarded to students during the course of their education. This can be up to 100% if the student scores 90+ in the exam. The exam is set for all courses. The basic syllabus of class 12th is followed, in whichever stream you have given your boards. Apart from this, you can also get a scholarship through your 12th score. Students above 55% aggregate score can appear for BA (Hons) in English at Chandigarh University's Liberal Arts Department.
