Shri Krishna University three-year BA course is available in Sociology, Economics, History, Psychology, and more such specialisations. The university also provide integrated BA courses, such as BA B.Ed and BA LLB (Hons). Admission criteria is subject to fulfilment of the eligibility requirements. Hi, there are only 6 distance BA colleges in Kolkata of which 2 colleges are owned privately and 1 college is owned by the government. Admission to majority of these colleges are done on merit basis. These colleges offer various specialisations in distance mode like English, Urdu, Criminology, Public Administration, Economics, History, Languages, Political Science, Sociology, etc. NSOU, St. Peter's College, Vaishno Devi Institute of Studies and Vidyasaathi are the top distance BA colleges in Kolkata.
