The curriculum is divided in six/eight semesters as per the course. The syllabus includes multiple core and additional subjects. Core courses can be major or minor. Students also get to choose their subject combinations. Some subjects in the multidisciplinary BA course are Political Science, History, etc.

The selection is based on Class 12 marks. No entrance exam is required for applying. An application form has to be submitted by the students on the official college website. Selection and seat allotment is done by college only on the basis of merit. A merit list is released and those who are selected have to get their documents verified. Fee payment is the last step of admission process.

All applicants can apply for admissions through the official college website. The college releases an application form. Students have to fill it and submit before the deadline. Post which, a merit list is released by the college. Those who are selected can pay the fee and confirm their admissions.

The minimum percentage to get admissions in the Honours course is 50% (overall) or 45% in related subjects of Class 12. SC students need minimum 40% marks. Moreover, for the General BA course, there is no minimum percentage required. Students just have to pass all subjects in the qualifying exam to apply.

The registrations for the course usually starts after Class 12 or HSC results are announced. Admissions are merit based. Students can apply and submit their applications through the official website. The college releases merit list of selected students for admissions.

The tuition fee is different for both courses. For Honours course, tuition fee is INR 900. For General course, it is INR 600. The total fees include other components also. Hence, total fee is higher.

The eligibility is different for both courses offered. Students who wish to pursue General BA course are required to pass in all subjects of Class 12/HSC examinations. Those who want to opt for Honours degree have to score at least 50% overall aggregate or 45% in related subject. For SC, minimum 40% is required. Full marks in English is compulsory for both courses.
