The total number of seats for all five BA (Prog.) courses was 250 seats at Hansraj College. These seats were divided equally among the five BA courses which resulted in each of them having a seat intake of 50.

The BA (Hons) in Hindi at Hansraj College had a fees of INR 89,205 in 2025. This fee was charged on per annum basis at INR 29,735 from every student except for certain fee components which are charged only once.
It includes all the fee components such as tuition fee, admission fee, security deposits and many more. The current fees for the aforementioned course is yet to be announced by Hansraj College.

To secure any scholarships at NIMS School of Humanities and Social Sciences, BA students must have scored at least 60% marks in their Class 12 board exam. Such candidates are eligible for a 10% waiver of their tuition fee in the first year.
If the candidate has scored a higher aggregate, they can receive a large tuition fee waiver of their BA fees.

The scholarship scheme that offers sports scholarships provides 20% waiver of tuition fee for any sports achievement on the state level. However, national level sports achievements offer a 100% tuition fee waiver to eligible candidates.
