Each year, 120 students are accepted into SCMC's B.A. in Mass Communication programme

The Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication (SCMC) is housed under the Faculty of Media and Communication of Symbiosis International University (SIU). The department provides a BA course at the UG level. SCMC Pune admits visitors through entryway. This location authorises the SET admission exam.

The candidates will have to apply for admission according to the cut-offs as released by Symbiosis Institutes for their courses.

Only candidates meeting the cut-off marks of the above-mentioned institutes will be called for PI round.

Based on the students who participated, the department recorded a placement percentage of 77.46% in 2020. In addition to placement chances, university-pursuing students are qualified for a number of need- and merit-based scholarships.

Candidates may apply for admission if they have completed their 10+2 (or 10+3 Diploma, recognised by the State Board of Technical Education) in any discipline from any recognised Board, Council, or University, and have at least 50% (45% for SC/ST) in their aggregate marks, or comparable grades.

Admission to SCMC Pune is by entrance. The SET entrance exam is approved here.

National University of Singapore (NUS), which offers undergraduate programmes in various faculty members such as Business, Computing, Dentistry, Law, Medicine, Music, and more.

Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS), which offers BA and BSc degree programmes in partnership with reputable universities from the UK, such as the University of Sunderland, the University of Portsmouth, and Bangor University.

Amity Global Institute, which offers BA and BSc degree programmes in collaboration with universities from the UK and Australia, such as the University of London, the University of Northampton, and the University of Newcastle.

PSB Academy, which offers BA and BSc degree programmes in various disciplines such as Accounting, Business, Communication, Engineering, and Science, in partnership with universities from Australia and the UK, such as the University of Wollongong, the University of Nottingham, and Coventry University.

Over the years, seats on offer for admissions at IHMs have increased. In 2020, more than 12,000 seats were available for admission in BSc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration offered at IHMs.

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for any course at the institute. The admission to undergraduate courses is offered on the basis of National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

A student has to secure a minimum 40% mark from the internal and 40% from the NCHMCT exams to pass a subject in theory and 50% for practical. 13.6 In order to be eligible to appear for the examinations, the student is required to have a minimum attendance of 75%.

For its Undergraduate Diploma in Hotel Management, the Institute of Advanced Management in Kolkata is now enrolling 60 students. The total seat intake is not yet made public. The prerequisite for admission is a validated board certificate in 10+2. The university offers two specialisations: the Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Studies (BTS) course and the Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Management (BA). The undergraduate programme lasts for three years. Three years of Bachelor of Arts courses cost INR 4.5 lacs in tuition in total. A variety of hospitality specialisations are available through undergraduate, UG diploma, and Diploma degrees offered by the Institute of Advanced Management in Kolkata.
